ACT Angola Forum
The forum has been working together since 2006. It is well organized and structured. Meetings are held on a monthly basis especially the last Friday of each month.
The forum has undertaken the following activities: coordinating appeals implementation, participation on forum meetings and trainings in the region, outlining the memorandum of understanding, planning training, two working groups have been set up namely: the emergency and the training groups.
A Forum retreat was organized in the last half of 2009 where two main plans have been outlined. This retreat report has been shared with the Secretariat. It was also agreed during the retreat that advocacy should start with the Angolan government to explain clearly our work.
The Forum has a memorandum of Understanding.
The Forum is still to develop a strategic plan. There is no full time paid Coordinator.
Currently the Forum is convened by IERA-Igrej Evangelica Reformada de Angola through its Director of Diakonia Abtónio Mabeca Maiandi.
