ACT DR Congo Forum
The ACT Forum DR Congo meets once a week to share information in Goma and Bukavu. They also meet every semester to evaluate implementation of activities.
The forum started working together since 2001 in response to Goma volcanic disaster. The forum has a memorandum of Understanding since 2006.
Work undertaken by Forum so far consists of ( Joint Needs assessment and launching Appeals, joint response to Emergency ,training workshops, peer review, advocacy with the government , and Capacity Development Initiative after capacity assessment) .
The Forum has a Coordinator who is supported by members. Eastern DRC is one of three regional fora in DRC.
