ACT Malawi Forum
The ACT Forum in Malawi has been working since 2002. It is organised and members meet every month to discuss several issues affecting it.
The forum has been working together on joint appeals, joint climate change programs, joint assessment programs, advocacy work, relief and rehabilitation programs, peer monitoring, trainings and the organizational capacity assessments (OCA).
The Malawi Forum has a clear Memorandum of Understanding. It has just finished developing a strategic plan for the next 3 years.
The forum has a full time paid Coordinator who convenes the forum meetings.
The current Forum Coordinator is Dingiswayo Jere and the convening organization is Evangelical Lutheran Development Services (ELDS) an arm of Evangelical Lutheran Church in Malawi (ELCM).
