ACT Sudan (Juba) Forum
ACT Forum Juba was formed in January 2007 with 10 members, and has the 10 states in Southern Sudan and the 3 transitional areas of Blue Nile, Southern Kordofan and Abyei as its geographical areas of coverage.
The members normally meet every second month and the work is based on a Memorandum of Understanding signed by the member organizations.
Sudan Council of Churches is a member of the Forum.
The Forum aims at strengthening cooperation, coordination and resource sharing among its members in development and emergency response, and has initiated and coordinated some ACT appeals.
The Forum don't have a coordinator, but four of its member organizations are currently in the process of employing a joint Safety and Security Coordinator.
