ACT Liberia Forum
The ACT Liberia Forum was established in 2001 following an ACT West Africa Forum Meeting in Sierra Leone facilitated by ACT Geneva. During the following years the forum executed joint emergency appeals and applied for Rapid Response Funds, Disaster Preparedness Training, Peace and Advocacy Workshops, Capacity Assessments and External Evaluation of the performance of the forum, amongst others.
In 2010, following the creation of ACT Alliance, the forum was reactivated. Currently the forum is deeply involved in responding to the humanitarian needs in Nimba and Grand Gedeh County, following the crisis in Ivory Coast in 2010/ 2011.
