Capacity Development

This area is for the Capacity Development Steering Group that has the responsibility of leading the alliance's initiative on capacity building. The group brings together professionals from across the world who have expertise in capacity development - both agencies' own capacity or that of partner organisations. Members are selected through an annual nomination process and serve for two years.

The overall objective of the group is to ensure that the Capacity Development Initiative meets its goal of “putting capacity development at the heart of ACT’s work.”  Group members do this by supporting members and ACT forums in capacity assessments, with workshops and in the processes of assessment, formulating policy and guidelines regarding capacity development within the alliance.

Please contact the group moderator for more information, thank you.
