Syria: Assistance to the affected in Syrian conflict, REVISION 2 - SYR121

Appeal Target: US$ 5,148,305. As the situation continued to deteriorate ACT Alliance members are scaling up the emergency response. Next to International Orthodox Christian Charities (IOCC), also The Lutheran World Federation (LWF) and Finn Church Aid (FCA) are raising funds through the appeal. The implementation of activities is planned until the end of August 2013.

South Sudan: Emergency preparedness, response and reintegration - SSD122

Corrections done in NCA and LWF budgets. No changes in the narrative. Corrected Appeal Target: US$ 6,475,810. To respond to the humanitarian situation, ACT members propose to provide much needed humanitarian support to people affected by the challenges in South Sudan through a twelve-month appeal. This full appeal replaces the Preliminary Appeal issued on 13th July.

Ethiopia: Drought Response - ETH111

Appeal Target: US$ 2,627,694. ACT Alliance members in Ethiopia will provide food and non food assistance to 63, 608 individuals in 5 districts of Ethiopia most affected by the ongoing drought. The three month response will complement the ongoing efforts by the government of Ethiopia through the Disaster Risk Management and Food Security Sector (DRMFSS), in collaboration with humanitarian partners (donors, NGOs, UN agencies).
