Malawi

An earthquake in December 2009 cost 16,500 people their homes and left them crammed in tents with little access to water, sanitation, food or medicine.  It was exacerbated by a cyclone later that month.  Three ACT members responded with maize, porridge, oil, beans, plastic sheeting, household utensils, clothing and medicine.
