Zimbabwe

ACT’s Zimbabwe members have continued to manage to carry out work, despite spiralling economic and social decline, a temporary ban on aid agencies and NGOs, and a cholera epidemic.  The last appeal for Zimbabwe by ACT members in 2008 assisted 47,000 people with food aid in five provinces and in urban centres.
